Whether you’re a Texas native or just passing through the state this fall, one thing is for sure: there is no shortage of awesome autumnal events in Southeast Texas to enjoy. From Terrifying haunted houses to family-friendly festivals, here are some of our favorite events you shouldn’t miss this season.
If you’re looking for a hearty scare this fall, be sure to visit Vidor’s Texas Maze of Terror. Considered one of the spookiest haunted attractions in the area, the Maze of Terror is not recommended for young children. Open every Friday and Saturday in October as well as Halloween night.
On Oct. 12 and 13, the Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival is a great small-town fall festival that the entire family will love. Featuring more than 250 exhibitors, local vendors and food, and much more, this charming festival should be on every Texan’s calendar.
For adults 21 years of age and older, the Art Museum of Southeastern Texas will host the 4th annual Boos and Brews Monster Mash. This costume-friendly event will feature live music, seasonal beers, and festive fall foods.
We here at Sour Lake Ford hope to see you at one or more of these fun events. And remember to give us a call if you need to schedule a fall service appointment for your vehicle.
